Our History

Almost a decade ago, we co-created a charity bike ride that’s become a major part of our annual Giving Program. To date, this ride alone has raised over $3,200,000.

Ride To Give (RTG) is an important part of our pledge to support causes that make a real difference to those in need. These causes typically involve children, health, education and those facing social or financial disadvantage. A number are focused in regional and rural Australia.

Each year, the ride’s route will benefit different regional communities as we ride through and show our support for regional schools, local community clubs, Indigenous communities and local charities.

About FDC

FDC is a national construction and fitout business which started from humble beginnings over 30 years ago. Today it is a major participant in the Australian construction industry, led by a community first culture and delivering award winning projects across sectors such as commercial buildings, data centres, hi-tech industrial, workplace, education, health and asset refurbishment.

Despite the growth, we have never forgotten what matters most. It’s our people. The people that have got us to where we are and those that will take us further.

We’re committed to leaving a legacy we can all be proud of.

From fundraising events to sponsorships to our ongoing work with local communities, we’re working hard to build a better future. At FDC we make an annual pledge to help causes that have made a personal impact to our people, families, partners or clients.

In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respects to their elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

At FDC, we have been in business for over three decades. And while we’ve certainly grown, we’ve never lost sight of what matters most. People.

We’re continually inspired by our relationships, partnerships and collaborations. We’re a family business, powered by connection, working together for a better world. We pledge to help numerous causes that have made a personal impact to our people, families, partners or clients. To us, giving back to the wider community is not only our corporate social responsibility, but a hugely satisfying pursuit that has a positive impact on our employees and beyond. From fundraising events to sponsorships, we’re dedicated to leaving a legacy we can all be proud of.
